Blackberry reveals that very soon they will stop the production of Blackberry phones

Blackberry reveals that very soon they will stop the production of Blackberry phones

BlackBerry is a line of smartphones and services designed and marketed by BlackBerry Limited (formerly known as Research In Motion/RIM).
BlackBerry was considered one of the major smartphone vendors in the world, specializing in secure communications and mobile productivity. At its peak in September 2013, there were 85 million BlackBerry subscribers worldwide. However, BlackBerry has since lost its dominant position in the market due to the success of the Android and iOS platforms; the same numbers had fallen to 23 million in March 2016
BlackBerry’s CEO, John Chen, expresses the possibility of BlackBerry becoming entirely a software company; this may imply the end of production of popular BlackBerry phones.

“Our new mobility solutions strategy is showing signs of momentum”, CEO John Chen had said, “including our first major device software licensing agreement with a telecom joint venture in Indonesia. Under this strategy, we are focusing on software development, including security and applications. The company plans to end all internal hardware development and will outsource that function to partners. This allows us to reduce capital requirements and enhance return on invested capital.”

Twitter launches new features for US citizens to register to vote easily

Twitter has just launched a new feature bascially for US citizens to be able to register and vote easily. This feature will go a long way to help reduce disinterestedness in voting, inorder to get the right candidate to rule the country, in the upcoming presidenitial election.

Voting can be very stressful, but I doubt it this time, using Twitter's own feature.

These feature was launched to celebrate National Voter Registration Day. Aimed at making voting processes alot easier and as well getting more US citizens to vote.

With this feature, users are now able to send a Direct message to the official @Gov account on Twitter, with their five-digit-zip code to recieve automated response that includes their a personalized link to register to vote, and as well a notice that will serve as a reminder on their state's voter registeration deadline.

As it gets closer to the election day, Twitter will enable US citizens to be able to send and ask more questions relating to voting.

Earlier today, @Gov tweeted saying;

Through a Direct Message with @Gov, Twitter can help you find your state's voter registration deadline and register to vote.

Nigeria's Aliko Dangote yet again set to buy Arsenal Football Club

Aliko Dangote Ready to buy Arsenal Football club

– Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote has set his sight on buying Arsenal football club in about four years
– Dangote believes he has the capacity to push the Premier League club to greater heights
– This new move may be good after the Gunners’ fans protested at the end of the 2015/16 season for a new owner and manager

Nigeria's business mogul Aliko Dangote is set to purchase Premier League giants, Arsenal in the next four years.

Dangote who is said to be worth £8.3billion had last year, revealed his intentions to buy controlling shares of the London club in the wake of unsuccessful campaigns by the Gunners.
Aliko Dangote is set to purchase Arsenal in the next four years
Dangote told Bloomberg: “Maybe three to four years. The issue is that we have more challenging headwinds. I need to get those out the way first and start having tailwinds. Then I’ll focus on this.”
The one-time Africa’s richest man whose business is tied up in Lagos-based Dangote Cement Plc, lost £3.3billion this year due to fall of the Naira in the foreign exchange market.

Dangote added: “It’s not about buying Arsenal and just continuing with business as usual.
“It’s about buying Arsenal and turning it around. I’ve run a very successful business and I think I can also run a very successful team.

“Right now, with what we’re facing, over $20 billion of projects, I cannot do both.”
Arsenal’s fans have been having issues with current majority shareholder Stan Kroenke after the Gunners failed to spend big in the summer transfer window.

The Arsene Wenger-tutored side have failed to win the Premier League in the last 12 years and only managed to win two FA Cups since 2004.
