Follow these steps to configure it successfully
Your gamepad is with a USB so for you to make such a connection with your phone, you must have an OTG cord.
Below is how an OTG cord looks like
*Note: not all android smartphones support the use of an OTG cord. So these steps will only work if your device supports an OTG cord.
Next you get your USB gamepad
Then you follow these steps closely;
Step1: connect your phone to the OTG cord.
Step2: attach your USB gamepad to the OTG cord.
Step3: then open your ppsspp emulator and go to settings.
Step4: then by the side you'll see options like graphics, audio etc. Select controls.
Step5: under controls click on control mapping. Under control mapping you'll see options like clear all, restore default etc. But just select auto configure, then a pop up to auto configure device will appear. After that, click on 'twin usb gamepad'.
Step6: click on Dpad up. On your USB gamepad, press up then. Afterwards select Dpad down and press down on your USB gamepad. Follow the same procedures for the other keys.
Go back to your ppsspp game and see the result.
Sit back and enjoy your PSP game...
